One of the top rookies receiving attention from professional baseball fans this year is KIA left-hander Yoon Young-cheol.
Yoon Young-cheol revealed that his goal is to throw long innings like his role model, his best left-hander Yang Hyeon-jong.

Super rookie Yoon Young-chul, the only rookie to participate in the KIA spring camp aiming to win this season.
“I plan to go (to spring camp) and see how well the ball I throw works.
Yun Young-chul, who was considered one of the best aces in high school, was nominated as the 2nd pick in the 1st round of the KIA draft this year, and became a team with the same left-hander Yang Hyeon-jong as a role model.
Along with his control, Yoon Young-chul, who is said to be calm unlike a rookie, is determined to absorb all the know-how of Yang Hyeon-jong, the best active pitcher.
“(Yang Hyeon-jong) has many things to learn besides the way he throws the ball, so I took him as a role model… I’m curious about how to throw a long inning and what to do to not get hurt for a long time.”

“I saw him throw in high school, and I’m really looking forward to it. I think it will be fun… If you ask me any questions, I will always give you a good answer.”
Following foreign one-two punch Anderson Medina and national team Yang Hyeon-jong and Lee Eui-ri, he is mentioned as the 5th starter for the vacant team, but Yoon Young-chul’s goal is relatively simple.
“I think getting hurt is the most important thing, and I want to stay in the first team for a long time if possible… I just want to have more experience by throwing from any position. I want to throw in many games.”
